Who are we?
The Guardians of Ukraine ICF was founded on the first day of a full-scale offensive against our country. When the first russian missiles began to destroy our cities and villages, we realized - we must act! People usually form three primary psychological reactions during the war: "beat, run, freeze." Some went to war. Others who left had a "run" reaction. He who stays and hides in shelters - they "freeze." But for many Ukrainians, the war has determined another reaction - help.
Our association is engaged in assistance. The main directions are assistance to the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense, doctors, migrants, cities affected by the war, and aid to animals.
How were they formed?
The foundation founders have been familiar with the war since 2014. Then still friends, and now husband and wife - the couple helped on different sides of the front. He is in the combat zone. She was focused on raising funds to support the guys in the anti-terrorist operation zone. Together with friends, they held the festival "That's how I love Ukraine," made streams, and developed merch.
Sources of income
The main income is voluntary donations, humanitarian aid, and business resources. We are also planning a series of merch, the sale of which will be spent on the Armed Forces' assistance and the Armed Forces. Ukrainian artists are already involved in the project.
Today, war-affected every Ukrainian in all corners of our homeland. The fighting began on February 24 and covered all regions, cities, and villages with a dark canvas, bringing pain and suffering to every citizen. Our mission is to help where needed, and we try to implement it as much as we can. But even in the dark, we see the light. We come to where we need the most, support and saving.
